Bedford County School District Reviews

The dress code is extremely sexist to female students. I think the board who makes the dress code should change it and not instruct us what to wear as long as it’s not showing intimate areas like a bikini would. They’re not the ones that buy our clothes. It’s just unfair. Also, they are very strict on absences at Cascade. This could be seen as discrimination against people with health issues and family burdens. Many people, including myself have many therapy appointments and doctor’s appointments. I believe this should be changed. One good thing about Cascade High School is the band program. We have an amazing band. We are theoretically, the fourth best band in Middle, TN. This disregards band size, school size and how much money each band has. The band takes trips every two years to either Disney World or New York. If someone’s looking for a grade school for instrumental music, Cascade High School could be a perfect fit for them! Overall, Cascade is a good high school for a musician.
